Job Description

In this role, you will be part of a security guard patrol serving within the state maritime museums. You will work at Kungliga Djurgården adjacent to parks and museums. As a security guard in this position, you are responsible for ensuring that visitors, both national and international tourists, receive a premium service experience. The job mainly involves patrolling and collaborating with various stakeholders such as staff, businesses, and tourists. You play an important role in the client’s operations and are expected to deliver service and support based on the developed service concept for the area of responsibility.

Some examples of your service areas will include: Galärparken, Vasamuseet, and SS Sankt Erik. Work will take place both indoors and outdoors.

This is a full-time position during the day, with working hours from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, during the period of June, July, and August 2026, with the possibility of extension. You will work in a pleasant and historic environment in Stockholm.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has a valid security guard permit or has a planned security guard training during the spring of 2026 and who has good Swedish and English skills in both spoken and written form.

We seek someone who wants to work in a role that creates safety and has a natural ability to combine service with a pronounced security mindset. You are meticulous and patient in your work approach as there will be a lot of interaction with people in this role. Furthermore, you are communicative, empathetic, clear, and have the ability to be flexible and adapt your way of solving arising situations in the best way. We are looking for individuals with inner security and a natural drive to help and contribute with first-class service. You are proactive with good body language and understand the importance of professionally engaging with customers, making eye contact, and smiling.

We are looking for someone who enjoys working with people and has a natural drive to help. Additionally, you should be security-conscious, service-oriented, and empathetic. You should be able to combine good service with a pronounced security mindset and have communication and collaboration skills. The job requires you to be flexible and adaptable.

In addition, you need to be without a criminal record*, drug-free, have organized finances, good health and fitness, and have a high school diploma or equivalent education to be employed by Avarn Security.

It is an advantage if you have a background in security training and/or other relevant education for the position.

For the approval authority's assessment of a person's legal compliance and civic reliability, information from the criminal record or suspicion register or processed by the Security Police under the law on police processing of personal data within the area of criminal data law will be obtained.
